Job summary

AWS Data Center Security is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead physical security projects across data centers, including access control, intrusion detection and CCTV systems. You will coordinate across global teams, manage multi-million dollar budgets, and drive security standards implementation.

The role emphasizes collaboration, SME guidance, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure security programs meet AWS standards and regional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
• Experience delivering physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Project Management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Preparation of physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS physical security program.
• Provide SME support for leadership to make strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure.
• Balance performance metrics such as installation vendor service delivery, spend vs. budget, cost reduction, defect rates, program analysis.
• Manage vendors for onboarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Effectively manage multi-million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams and provide support for global initiatives.
