Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Manager, Physical Security Engineering to lead a team delivering secure data center designs across the Americas. You will guide a group of PSEs from pre-design through construction and handoff, ensuring CPTED, HVM, and access control standards are met.

You will collaborate with AWS Security, Real Estate, and external consultants to set technical direction, drive design quality, and manage multiple fast-paced projects across leased and owned campuses.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of physical security principles and their practical application.
• Experience with CPTED, HVM, perimeter intrusion detection, video surveillance, and access control architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Physical Security Engineers across the full project lifecycle from pre-design to handoff.
• Define technical direction and drive accountability across multiple projects.
• Develop and communicate security design requirements to partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AWS Security, Design Engineering, Real Estate, and external consultants to deliver secure data center facilities.
