Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Physical Security System Project Manager and Technology Expert to lead data center security projects. You will manage hardware installations, design security systems for new builds and retrofits, and ensure vendor quotes and close-out documentation are handled to AWS standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in security operations and 2+ years in physical security PM, plus a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Security Operations experience in data center, logistics, manufacturing, retail or similar industries, to include access control systems and CCTV.
• 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• PSP, CPP, PMP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansions and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specifications for vendor pricing; review vendor quotes and assemble quote packages for requisitions.
• Provide project management for multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for security system testing and ensure operational readiness at project close.
• Prepare and archive project close-out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics for system installation, service delivery, and equipment reliability.
• Travel up to 25% within the USA.
