Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Physical Security Program Manager for the DC Amer-West region to lead data center security projects and manage physical security systems. You will collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to ensure AWS security standards are met and maintained.

The role requires at least 2 years in physical security project management, vendor collaboration, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• At least 2 years of experience in physical security project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, drawings, and technical specifications for vendor pricing.
• Review and provide QA of vendor quotes and submit packages for requisitions.
• Project manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Serve as SME for testing and acceptance, ensuring operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive project close-out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics for installation and service delivery.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to meet high security standards.
• Ensure local teams have knowledge/resources to maintain security mission post-implementation.
