Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Security is hiring a Physical Security Program Manager to own security system installation during data center construction. You will manage security vendors from RFP through handoff, review designs, validate installations, and ensure sites meet AWS Physical Security Standards.

Key responsibilities include end-to-end deployment, due diligence on designs, site validations, and coordinating tests to meet operational readiness before handoff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer-facing IT or physical security systems/infrastructure work.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in infrastructure security.
• 2+ years of physical security project and vendor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deployment lifecycle for physical security systems from staging to handoff.
• Conduct due diligence on security designs, vendor solutions and site conditions.
• Perform site assessments to ensure AWS security standards and regulatory compliance.
• Review drawings and submittals; provide feedback to engineers and vendors.
• Develop programming logic for access control, intrusion, VMS, and alarm platforms.
• Serve as escalation point for complex physical security issues across hardware, software and networks.
• Lead integration testing; document results and acceptance criteria.
• Document and track vendor performance and quotes accuracy.
• Evaluate priorities and constraints to make engineering decisions under time pressure.
