Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States (VA, Manassas) is seeking a Program Manager for data center physical security. You will lead security systems projects, manage multi-million dollar budgets, and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure safety, security standards, and cost-effective solutions.

The role requires experience with access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and security program governance, with a focus on scalable, compliant implementations across AWS data centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding physical security standards and system designs.
• Experience delivering physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Project Management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Preparation of physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
• Knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess applicability within the AWS program.
• Provide SME support for leadership to guide technology and procedure decisions.
• Balance metrics like vendor performance, spend vs budget, post-install defects, and program analysis.
• Manage vendors through onboarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes.
• Oversee multi-million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate across teams and support global initiatives.
