Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Sterling, VA is seeking a Data Center Owner Representative/Project Manager to lead all construction activities on site. You will manage budgets, schedules, vendor compliance and contract terms, coordinating with the GC and client team to deliver the project.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering, has 5+ years of capital project experience, and a solid understanding of MEP construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Solid understanding of MEP construction management.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish the Master Project Schedule, based on the Critical Path and key milestones (P6 cost/resource loaded).
• Create and establish the Master Project Budget, including soft costs, hard costs, bonds, insurance and contingencies.
• Support Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
• Assist in contract negotiation with Client and counsel, including GC terms and mark‑ups.
• Verify approvals/permits with AE and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Produce monthly cash flow projections and cost control analysis.
• Lead owner-direct vendors and consultants; manage change control and delay analysis.
• Oversee QA/QC, document control, submittals and commissioning close-out activities.
