Job summary

Salute, a leading provider of data center infrastructure services, seeks a Multi‑Skilled Operator to support hyperscale clients and maintain critical building systems on site. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and IT facility skills, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, and assist in delivering colocation and network services. The ideal candidate has a GED or high school diploma, excellent observation and problem-solving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Superior observation and problem‑solving skills.
• Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensures success in operation, maintenance, and modification of all critical environment building systems tasks (mechanical, electrical, cabling, fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, building management systems).
• Completes planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance work assignments across engineering and maintenance trades.
• Executes periodic building systems inspections (HVAC, electrical distribution) and maintains equipment rooms.
• Responds rapidly to indoor emergencies and air quality concerns.
• Creates and tracks work requests, initiates or responds to work orders, and follows up on completion.
• Monitors third-party contractors for performance and recommends changes as needed.
• Delivers data center services including colocation, connectivity, and network services to customers and internal systems.
• Acts as a focal point to data center customers, vendors, and carriers regarding colocation and network products.
• Supports internal networks, IT infrastructure, and telecommunications rooms; installs IT and network hardware and tests cable paths.
• Coordinates access with third-party contractors for structured cabling and equipment installations.
• Supports offsite points of presence and assists in operations and maintenance of infrastructure and network tasks.
