Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a technology manager to lead a data center operations team responsible for cloud infrastructure across multiple locations. You will mentor staff, sponsor projects, and design strategies to improve uptime, efficiency, and cost.

As part of the on-call rotation, you’ll manage hardware/network diagnostics, coordinate repairs, and ensure safe, reliable operations. Willingness to travel between sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of ops and on-call support for data center facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign tickets to data center technicians and operators.
• Manage performance of a diverse team across locations.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels.
• Ensure day-to-day data center operations including 7/24 shift arrangements.
