Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Data Center Operations Technician in Memphis to manage health of server and network infrastructure across data centers and PoPs. You will monitor MTTR/MTTD, be on-call for emergencies, and drive efficient intake and repair processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with DC hardware, fiber, power, cooling, and asset management, plus willingness to work evenings/weekends and pass background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years with server, storage, compute and network hardware.
• 2+ years troubleshooting servers/networks.
• 2+ years inventory management of server equipment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work at height.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Background checks and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the job site during initial construction and coordinate with engineering.
• Troubleshoot and monitor servers and networks in data centers and PoPs.
• Rack and stack data center equipment.
• Maintain warehouse inventory and asset management in internal apps.
• Label and troubleshoot fiber/optics cables.
• Handle power cabling, installation, and repair.
• Install racks, servers, and switches and hand off to provisioning.
• Manage DC ops tickets in Jira and document SOPs.
• Receipt and decommissioning of DC hardware; vendor returns.
• Manage spare parts inventory; define network layouts within DC.
