Qualifications

• 1-2+ years experience in computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical background in server and network hardware, including routing and switching.
• Experience with enterprise/service provider network hardware platforms (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Arista).
• Proficiency in Linux OS, CLI navigation, and troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deinstall enterprise servers and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, console servers, optical transport equipment).
• Troubleshoot cabling, powering up/down, and handoff to internal teams; perform hardware break/fix and FRU replacements.
• Test and troubleshoot fiber optic, copper, and telecom cables; trace cables through patch panels.
• Use automation tools and scripts to configure, monitor, and repair network equipment.
• Maintain and document RMA processes, vendor communications, and replacements.
• Provide onsite network support and liaison for remote teams; collaborate with facilities, cabling, server, and engineering teams.
• Document work, create SOPs, and participate in root-cause analysis and process improvements.
• Maintain asset inventory, perform physical audits, and manage inventory databases.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.
