Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Data Center Operations System Engineer in Kansas City, MO. You will help rack, label, and configure servers, storage, and networks in a fast‑moving data center.

Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred; you will troubleshoot hardware/software, document DCIM layouts, manage inventory, and coordinate with HW/SLA teams for deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with troubleshooting server hardware and large-scale data center systems.
• Familiarity with network topology concepts and DCIM software.
• Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA and Zendesk.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain & manufacturing for deployments of large-scale systems.
• Manage a parts depot inventory and track equipment through delivery to deployment stages.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve infra tickets and with RMA for replacements.
• Follow installation standards for placement, labeling, and cabling across data centers.
