Job summary
Lambda Labs, The Superintelligence Cloud, seeks a hands-on Data Center Technician to join our San Jose team. You will rack, label, cable and configure new server, storage, and network equipment across multiple data centers.
You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, document layouts in DCIM, and collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and the HW Support team to ensure deployments stay on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining data center infrastructure.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Willing to travel to new data center sites.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure new server, storage and network infrastructure is properly racked, labeled, cabled, and configured.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced systems.
- Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
- Collaborate with supply chain & manufacturing for timely deployments.
- Manage a parts depot inventory and track equipment through lifecycle stages.
- Work with HW Support to resolve infrastructure-related tickets.
- Coordinate with the RMA team to return faulty parts and order replacements.
- Follow installation standards and documentation for consistency across data centers.
