Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our Atlanta data centers. You will be responsible for racking, labeling, cabling, and configuring new server/storage/network infrastructure, while troubleshooting issues on cutting-edge hardware and software.

This role requires travel for bring-up of new data center locations and deployments. You will document layouts and network topology in DCIM software, work with supply chain for timely deployments, and manage

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with data center infrastructure such as power distribution, cabling, airflow and environmental monitoring.
• Strong ability to follow detailed instructions and document configurations clearly.
• Willingness to travel for bring-up of new data center locations and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable and configure new server, storage and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in cutting-edge systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain & manufacturing for timely deployments of large-scale systems.
• Manage a parts depot inventory and track equipment through delivery to handoff in each data center.
• Collaborate with HW Support to resolve data center infra-related tickets.
• Coordinate RMA process for faulty parts and replacements.
• Follow installation standards to ensure consistency across data centers.
