Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Lancaster) is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily inbound/outbound activities, plan labor, space, and equipment, and manage warehouse tasks to meet service and cost objectives.

You will supervise receiving, warehousing and shipping, hire and train staff, conduct performance reviews, and drive safety, quality and efficiency across shifts, including A1/A2/B1/B2 schedules. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferred: forklift training / MHE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and daily work activities to meet productivity goals.
• Plan labor, space, and equipment; communicate with clients and senior management.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; administer performance reviews.
• Ensure safety, quality, and SOP compliance across operations.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound activities and customer communications.
