Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Data Center Operator to manage the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of critical data center systems in Goodyear, AZ. You will lead preventative maintenance, monitor UPS, switchgear, generators and cooling equipment, ensuring uptime and safety across facility operations.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, documentation of work requests, and collaboration with site management, MSO teams and vendors to maintain high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Proven experience operating electrical and mechanical critical systems in data centers.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA, NEC codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions of facility systems.
• Complete planned and ad-hoc preventive maintenance across electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect building systems (HVAC, electrical distribution) for safety and efficiency.
• Respond to indoor emergencies, manage air quality and humidity issues.
• Create, close and track work requests; manage contractor performance.
• Coordinate data center commissioning activities with managers and vendors.
• Ensure data center uptime and optimize efficiency and cost.
• Interact with customers, internal teams and implementation personnel during turn‑ups.
