Salute is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician to oversee critical data center operations, ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency. You will supervise a team, coordinate with contractors, and manage preventive maintenance and commissioning activities for electrical, mechanical, and control systems in Barstow, TX.

The role demands 6+ years in data center facilities, expertise in HVAC, electrical switchgear, gensets, and NFPA codes, with hands-on troubleshooting and strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in operation, installation, and maintenance of data center critical equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical one lines and assess capacity, safety, and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions of facility systems.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance and rapid response to emergencies.
• Manage work requests, track progress, and ensure contractor performance.
• Interface with management, contractors, and vendors for commissioning and testing.
• Oversee a team of Multi-Skilled Operators and ensure safety-first operations.
• Maintain data center uptime and optimize efficiency and costs.
