Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Data Center Operator in El Mirage, AZ to run the critical facility with emphasis on safety and uptime.

The role involves operating and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, monitoring for abnormalities and coordinating with vendors and the Site Manager for commissioning and ongoing maintenance. The DCO will manage preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with NFPA and building codes while supporting a highly available data center

Qualifications

4-year engineering degree required and willingness to meet site qualifications.
Experience operating large data center electrical/mechanical systems is preferred.
Knowledge of NFPA electrical, fire and life safety codes is essential.

Responsibilities

Place SAFETY at the top of every task and response to conditions.
Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal facility system conditions.
Perform preventive maintenance and corrective work on electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Inspect building systems (HVAC, electrical distribution) for clean, safe operation.
Manage work requests, contracts and vendors to ensure timely completion.
Interface with management, contractors and clients for data center turn-ups.
