Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Manager to join the Infrastructure Operations team in Clifton, TX. The role leads data center technicians, manages day-to-day operations, and ensures uptime and service levels for critical facilities.

You will mentor staff, coordinate on-call coverage, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Strong leadership, technical understanding of hardware/networking, and documented communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Information Technology experience in data centers or IT operations.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of on-call and data center facilities operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center technicians and operators across multiple locations.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including queue management and on-call schedules.
• Develop career paths and training for staff.
• Drive improvements in processes, technology, and automation.
• Ensure operational KPIs and adherence to SLAs.
• Coordinate large-scale incidents and outages.
