Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Center Technician/ System Administrator to support Naval Enterprise Network (NEN) operations. You will manage physical and virtual data center infrastructure, respond to alerts, patch servers, and document incidents from triage to resolution.

The role requires DoD security credentials, 2–4 years of IT experience, and the ability to provide 24x7 on‑call support in a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Information Systems, Information Security, IT, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience.
• US Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT II, Security+CE.
• Hands-on experience with DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR).
• Ability to plan/upgrades to data centers/network.
• Maintain virtualization/OS/hardware expertise.
• Provide 24x7 on‑call support.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve day-to-day IT hardware and OS operations.
• Ensure data center systems availability and performance.
• Take escalations from monitoring and ensure security policy compliance.
• Analyze alerts, document incidents from detection to resolution.
• Follow Enterprise Operations standards and processes.
• Support implementation of new technologies with Data Center Design team.
