Leidos is seeking a System Administrator to support the Naval Enterprise Network (NEN) data centers, handling day‑to‑day IT hardware and operating system operations. The role requires responding to alerts, patching servers, and providing incident documentation and 24x7 on‑call support to ensure mission readiness.

Candidate must be US‑citizen with DoD Secret clearance, possess an AS degree in a related field, and have hands‑on experience with DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR) and virtualization.

Qualifications

• AS degree in information systems, information security, IT, network engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience required.
• U.S. citizen with DoD Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01‑M IAT II, CompTIA Security+ CE.
• Hands‑on experience with DoD networks (NIPR/SIPR).
• Ability to plan and implement data center/network upgrades.
• Virtualization, operating systems, and hardware/software expertise.
• 24x7 on‑call support capability.

Responsabilités

• Manage and resolve day‑to‑day IT hardware and operating system issues.
• Ensure data center systems are available and performing.
• Take escalations from monitoring and ensure proper security policy compliance.
• Analyze alerts, document incidents from detection to resolution.
• Follow Enterprise Operations standards and procedures; support new technologies.
