Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Director, Operations SME for Data Centers & Critical Env to drive technical leadership and operational excellence across a global data center portfolio.

The role emphasizes incident management, lifecycle governance, and strategic advisory to clients and account teams, with travel up to 25–50% as required. A senior engineering background and multi-site experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, or mission-critical environments.
• 8+ years in senior leadership, technical advisory, or SME roles.
• Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, cooling, and high-density data center environments.
• Proven experience with large-scale enterprise, hyperscale, or colocation environments.
• Strong incident management, RCA methodologies, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead operating models for client data center portfolios.
• Oversee site start-up, transition readiness, and compliance with contract deliverables.
• Lead assessments, audits, and operational readiness across sites.
• Provide escalation support for high-severity incidents and complex troubleshooting.
• Drive training and enablement for site teams and standardization of practices.
