Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) invites applications for a Data Center Mechanical Operating Engineer on the Union Local 30, Evening 3rd Shift (11PM-7AM) in Orangeburg, NY. You will support critical environment operations, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient building systems under union guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in maintenance, and universal CFC certification with union membership or willingness to join.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• Minimum 4 years in building maintenance
• Trade school HVAC/electronic background
• Union training/certification acceptable
• Universal CFC certification or within 90 days

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair and operation of mechanical, electrical and power systems for critical environments.
• Operate safely and in compliance with regulations and SOPs; learn building controls and UPS systems.
• Maintain time/production records and assist with developing preventive maintenance programs.
