Job summary

JLL is seeking a Data Center Mechanical Operating Engineer (Union) for the Evening 3rd Shift in Orangeburg, NY. The role performs hands-on maintenance of building systems to ensure safe, efficient operations and requires union membership or willingness to join the union.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in building maintenance with HVAC/trade training, and a Universal CFC certification. Strong reading, reporting skills and CMMS experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in building maintenance and HVAC or related trade.
• Universal CFC cert or within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair and operation of mechanical, electrical and power generation equipment.
• Operate systems safely per regulations and SOPs.
• Learn building control, electrical and UPS systems on the job.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment rounds as directed.
• Maintain time and production records and service requests.
