Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Network Operations Engineer II for an onsite role in Denver to lead advanced troubleshooting and network optimization across a global data center environment.

You will own escalated incidents, work with engineering teams, monitor performance, and document changes. Candidates should have deep experience with data center networking, routing protocols, and common monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Data Center networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Proficiency with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot a global Data Center network (routing/switching).
• Perform fault isolation and resolve Layer 1–3 issues.
• Own escalated cases from Tier 1 and drive resolutions.
• Coordinate with DC facilities on maintenance impacting network infrastructure.
• Document incident resolution steps in ticketing systems.
• Provide Tier 2 support for Data Center Network repairs and incidents.
• Respond rapidly to major network incidents and SEV initiation.
