Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Tier 3 Network Operations Engineer for onsite work in Denver, CO. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, fault isolation, and incident escalation within a global backbone network, serving as the primary escalation point for Tier 2 engineers.

Responsibilities include monitoring, optimization, and collaboration with engineering teams to resolve complex network incidents. Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience required; Optical network expertise highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of network operations experience, with a focus on Optical networks.
• Experience with data center networking equipment, routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot a globally based Data Center network, including routing and switching devices.
• Perform fault isolation and resolution for Layer 1-3 issues.
• Own escalated incidents and drive resolution.
• Monitor backbone infrastructure and ticket queues.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation, and SOP updates.
