Job summary

Astreya Inc. is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer II to design, deploy, and support optical and IP network systems across data centers and POPs. You will work with hardware and software teams to specify components, benchmark performance, and develop test procedures.

Responsibilities include configuring large-scale networks, creating documentation, and coordinating with vendors to meet timelines. Travel 20–50% is required, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving in dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 2–5 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of data center networks and IP technologies.
• Experience with field-based work in POPs, carrier hotels, or central offices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support a large-scale production network and server infrastructure in data centers and POP sites.
• Document power requirements and coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, and vendors to meet them.
• Create network/rack layouts, port maps, and statements of work for POP deployments.
• Follow and improve data center and POP best practices; escalate to higher support tiers as needed.
