Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. is seeking a Level 2 Network Technician to maintain and support data center infrastructure. You will troubleshoot IT devices, install hardware, and ensure clean, organized data center operations.

Responsibilities include following guidance from NOC or engineering, managing on-site tasks, and coordinating with team members on physical servers, storage, network devices, and cabling. This role requires hands-on experience in data centers and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience leading a team executing a project.
• Knowledge of data center environments, including MMR, Cages, and Shared Areas.
• Understanding of server hardware components: power cycling, running diagnostics, whole unit replacement, and fault diagnosis.
• Understanding of network equipment functionalities (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Experience with structured cabling: standards, labeling, and organization.
• Basic electrician skills: power testing, connector types, AC/DC equipment.
