Job summary

Onstak Inc. is seeking an experienced L2/L3 Data Center Network Engineer/Consultant for New Albany, OH. The role is full-time and on-site with 24×7 rotational shifts to ensure network uptime and resilience.

You will deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise L2/L3 switching and routing, ZTP, and high-density cabling across hyperscale facilities, collaborating with global teams to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 3 to 15 years of progressive data center network engineering or related experience.
• Hands-on with L2/L3 switching, BGP/OSPF and L2VPN.
• Experience with ZTP, server provisioning, and automated network deployment.
• Deep knowledge of data center operations, cabling, and OTDR testing.
• Willingness for 24×7 on-site rotations in New Albany, OH.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise L2/L3 networks (BGP/OSPF, L2VPN).
• Implement ZTP workflows for automated device onboarding and config mgmt.
• Oversee storage design, compute infra, and hardware installation across large facilities.
• Execute rack-and-stack deployments, cabling, OTDR testing, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot rapidly, perform root-cause analysis, resolve incidents 24×7.
• Collaborate with global architects, systems engineers, facility managers, and clients.
• Maintain inventory, topology diagrams, asset tracking, and change logs.
• Publish incident reports, runbooks, backups, and SOPs.
