Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to support and scale our data center networking infrastructure. You will operate with minimal supervision to ensure stable, scalable networks and automation opportunities across multiple sites.

The role requires 1+ year networking and Linux experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Travel to regional sites is required, and you’ll work in a continuous operations environment with shift

Qualifications

1+ year of networking experience.
1+ year of Linux OS experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware.
Capability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Scale support across multiple data centers and manage day-to-day capacity.
Collaborate with internal customers and external vendors for project execution.
Support large-scale enterprise networks with implementation and troubleshooting.
Track work using ticketing systems and complete customer requests.
Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues.
Specify power and cooling requirements and rack equipment.
Participate in migration and rollout of new hardware.
Assist in building higher-level networking devices with peers.
Travel within and outside the regional area with a valid driver’s license.
