Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Network Deploy Technician to support scaling and automation of AWS data center networks. You will work with cross-functional teams to deploy hardware, troubleshoot network issues, and help ensure reliable, secure connectivity across regions.

In this role you’ll manage installations, cabling, and power/cooling needs, participate in 24/7 operations, and collaborate with Network Leadership and Project Managers to drive projects to completion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
