Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deploy Technician to help scale and sustain AWS data-center networks.

You’ll work with internal customers and vendors in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to drive network stability, support capacity planning, and assist in implementing new hardware and automation ideas. Requirements include 2+ years hardware troubleshooting, 1+ year networking, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High School or equivalent diploma

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
