Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Critical Environments Service Project Manager to oversee data center service projects from kickoff to closeout. You will be the primary contact for customers, internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders, owning project financials and delivery quality.

The role requires strong project management, customer-facing experience, and the ability to operate in live environments where uptime and risk mitigation are essential.

• Experience managing service projects for critical data center infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and manage service projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Define scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource needs.
• Develop schedules aligned to maintenance windows and operational constraints.
• Lead execution within approved budgets and quality expectations.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to mitigate impact.
• Coordinate kickoff meetings, planning sessions, and progress reviews.
• Ensure accurate project documentation reflects status and commitments.
• Coordinate projects in live data center environments where uptime is critical.
• Support change management, maintenance, upgrades, and emergency service projects.
• Ensure work complies with MOPs, SOPs, permits, and site procedures.
