Job summary

Upchurch is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Mission Critical Service Technician to maintain and service critical data center cooling and mechanical systems in a live-critical environment. You will perform scheduled PM/CM, handle alarms, and participate in on-call rotations, following strict MOPs and safety standards.

The role supports colocation, hyperscale, enterprise and edge data centers with emphasis on uptime and reliability, requiring attention to detail and procedural discipline.

Qualifications

• HVAC/mechanical experience in data center/critical environments.
• Basic PM and CM tasks in live data center settings.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center mechanical systems.
• Respond to alarms and maintenance windows.
• Document readings, inspections and conditions per SOPs and MOPs.
• Maintain system redundancy and coordinate with other teams.
