Job summary

Upchurch is a rapidly growing building engineering company based in Horn Lake, MS, delivering mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services across the southeastern United States.

The Critical Environments Service Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and deliver service projects for mission-critical data center infrastructure, owning schedules, budgets, procurement, forecasting, and change orders while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Ability to define scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and risk management skills.
• Experience coordinating with customers, service teams, and vendors.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with MOPs/SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, and manage service projects from kickoff through final closeout.
• Define scope, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Develop and maintain schedules aligned with maintenance windows.
• Lead execution within budgets and quality expectations.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate startup meetings and progress reviews.
• Ensure documentation reflects status and commitments.
• Coordinate service and construction in live data centers with uptime priorities.
• Support change-management, maintenance, upgrades, and commissioning.
• Ensure work follows approved SOPs, permits, and site procedures.
• Facilitate outage planning with stakeholders.
• Maintain awareness of system redundancy and risk.
