Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA seeks a Mechanical & Plumbing BIM Designer to design M&P systems for data centers and generate BIM models and construction documents using Revit.

The role requires strong Revit skills, 4+ years in BIM for M&P, and familiarity with IPC/UPC codes. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, safe infrastructure and support continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience using Revit for producing Mechanical & Plumbing BIM models and construction drawings.
• 5+ years of design/engineering experience of Mechanical & Plumbing building systems for mission critical facilities.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of Mechanical & Plumbing codes (IPC, or UPC) and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Designing the Mechanical and Plumbing systems of Data Centers and creating BIM models in Revit.
• Prepare and develop detailed Revit models and construction documentation for M&P systems.
• Coordinate with trades and teams to resolve clashes and maintain BIM templates.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
