Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Mechanical Engineer for Data Center Field Services Engineering. You will troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct RCA, and create corrective actions while supporting ongoing data center upgrades.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, driver’s license, and 3+ years in relevant engineering including data centers. You will engage with multiple teams to promote standards and deliver innovative solutions across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering including data centers.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, conduct RCA and create CA documentation for site/equipment failures.
• Support operational issues with ad-hoc training and SOP reviews.
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to improve capacity, availability, and efficiency.
• Interface with data center operations, design, server hardware, and EHS teams to promote standards.
