Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Electrical Engineer, Field Engineering to provide full lifecycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.

You will be the ‘go to’ engineering resource for your region, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure reliability and efficiency. You’ll lead audits, interface with operations, design engineering, and safety teams, and own upgrade concepts that improve capacity and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Valid and active driver's license.
Experience with data center electrical systems and upgrades.
Ability to lead engineering audits and field work.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, RCA, and document corrective actions for site/equipment failures.
Support operational issues with ad-hoc training and SOP reviews.
Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to increase capacity, availability, efficiency.
Interface with operations, design engineering, server hardware, and EHS teams.
Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers.
Lead engineering audits and on-site visits; produce risk reports.
Act as resident engineer during new construction; support turnover.
