Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Critical Infrastructure Electrical Engineer, Field Engineering, to support AWS Data Centers from design through maintenance. You will troubleshoot, perform RCA, and develop corrective actions while leading upgrades to improve capacity, availability, and efficiency.

You will engage with operations, design, and equipment teams, travel to sites, and guide field engineering initiatives across multiple regions, contributing to safe, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Valid and active driver's license

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, conductRoot Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action documentation for site/equipment failures.
• Lead engineering audits including on-site visits and produce risk reports with mitigations.
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency.
• Interface with Operations, Design, and other teams to promote standards and reliability.
• Manage engineering projects and consultants and lead field-oriented initiatives.
