Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead a critical operations team, safeguard uptime, and drive continuous improvement in a high‑performing data center environment.

You will coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and deployment activities while aligning with client and CBRE standards. This role requires strong leadership, risk awareness, and a collaborative approach to ensure reliability, efficiency, and compliant operations for essential IT

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of a data center or similar critical facility teams.
• Experience planning and executing maintenance, repairs and project work within SLAs.
• Strong communication with clients, stakeholders and senior management.
• Commitment to industry standards and documentation of critical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, train, and develop a dedicated team, fostering growth and conducting performance evaluations.
• Operational Management: Coordinate daily activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of work orders, PMs, and repairs within SLAs.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Manage client relationships, meet MSA requirements, and communicate effectively with senior management on critical issues.
• Infrastructure Assurance: Oversee facility and IT equipment installations, relocations, and decommissions, ensuring compliance with all standards.
• Quality & Standards: Verify pristine data hall conditions, ensure all deployments meet industry standards, and maintain meticulous documentation.
• Risk & Methodologies: Prepare and present Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve complex operational issues, contributing to process enhancements.
• Values Alignment: Lead by example, embodying CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).
