Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join the site-level Data Center Operations team in Texas. You will manage CMMS databases, track maintenance tasks, and coordinate preventive and corrective activities across multiple data centers.

The role requires expertise in CMMS systems, asset data, and audit readiness, while supporting operations with clear documentation and reporting. You will act as CMMS expert for assigned sites, train the team, and help optimize spare parts

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in managing data systems and critical facilities best practices.
• Experience in managing a CMMS database within the data center industry, MCIM and Service Now preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, automation, and infrastructure.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills; able to respond to sensitive issues clearly in writing or speech.
• Meticulous with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; familiarity with Microsoft Project and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, track, and provide updates on maintenance tasks using CMMS systems.
• Keep Major Maintenance Calendar up to date.
• Maintain CMMS data, assets, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule and document preventive activities.
• Plan and schedule corrective maintenance as needed.
• Send timely maintenance notifications per client requirements.
• Ensure work orders are completed promptly and documented.
• Create and distribute PM completion, deferral, and corrective metrics.
• Organize all maintenance documentation to ensure site compliance.
• Serve as CMMS Subject Matter Expert for assigned sites.
• Provide CMMS training to the operations team.
• Submit and document Change Management prior to maintenance dates.
• Assist in maintaining critical spare parts inventory.
• Review incident reports and follow-up maintenance actions.
• Prepare for audits and implement additional performance metrics.
