Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Lead to spend >50% time working hands-on with Data Center Technicians to support installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking gear, and cabling.

Remaining time is dedicated to onsite team management, operational oversight, and administrative duties. This role requires advanced technical knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to foster a high-performing team environment with a focus on safety and operational

Qualifications

College diploma/degree or minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a technical environment.
Real ID or other federally accepted identification for U.S. travel.
Complete all deliverables assigned by leadership within established timelines.
Foster and oversee new projects and procedural improvements.
Conduct regular meetings with the local client to address changes and maintain communication.

Responsibilities

Lead by example to foster a constructive and efficient team atmosphere.
Ensure compliance and quality of all data center services and client policies.
Provide technical direction and training on setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and QA.
Ensure data center activities adhere to industry best practices and standards.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on servers and networking equipment.
Manage ticket workflows, monitor progress, and ensure timely resolution per SLA.
Oversee inventory management and updating of inventory systems.
Lead special projects including equipment moves and safety compliance.
