Job summary

DSV is hiring a Data Center Team Lead - Kitting for the New Albany datacenter, on C-Shift (Mon-Thu, 8:00pm-6:30am). The role focuses on material orders, inventory management and server component assembly.

Responsibilities include overseeing freight handling, quality checks, daily cycle counts, rack installation, and cabling, using various hand/power tools. Requires 3-5 years of related experience and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with computers and electronics safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading/unloading of inbound and outbound freight and maintain shipping records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct parts and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment of critical spare parts.
• Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Install rack hardware and cabling in server racks following diagrams.
• Operate material handling equipment and ensure 5S safety standards.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Be flexible to cross-train in multiple datacenter departments.
