Job summary

DSV is hiring for a Data Center Team Lead – Kitting on the C-Shift (Mon-Thu, 8:00pm–6:30am) at the New Albany, USA datacenter. You will be responsible for material orders, customer service, and inventory management, including assembly and installation of servers and electronic components.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound freight handling, quality checks, daily cycle counts, and operating various warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

3-5 years of related experience.
Ability to pass any federal/state/local background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.
Must be able to work a C-Shift Mon-Thu 8:00pm-6:30am and be flexible to cross-train across datacenter departments.

Responsibilities

Oversee loading/unloading of inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping documents.
Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct part numbers and condition.
Conduct daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical parts on site.
Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
Install rack hardware and population of electronic components in server racks following diagrams and schematics.
Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, electric pallet jacks).
Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
