Job summary

DSV is hiring a Data Center Team Lead - Kitting for the D-Shift (Thu-Fri 6:00am-2:30PM, Sat-Sun 6:00AM-6:30PM) at the New Albany datacenter. You will oversee material orders, inventory management, and customer service while assembling and installing servers and components using hand and power tools.

You will lead daily forklift/rigging tasks, perform quality checks, manage cycle counts, and ensure safety and compliance with 5S protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• 3-5 years of related experience in a datacenter or logistics role.
• Experience with computers and warehouse equipment is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading/unloading of inbound/outbound freight and manage shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for critical parts on site.
• Process return shipments using warehouse management systems.
• Oversee server rack placement on datacenter floor with measuring devices.
• Install cabling and components into server racks following diagrams.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, pallet jacks).
• Maintain 5S standards and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Demonstrate flexibility by cross-training across datacenter departments.
