Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer to work on state-of-the-art facilities, including data centers and semiconductor plants. You will develop P&ID diagrams, 3D models and 2D drawings for industrial control systems and contribute to panel design with wiring layouts.

You’ll join global teams and manage multiple projects while adhering to schedules. We offer a hybrid work policy and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in instrumentation and controls.
• Familiarity with P&ID diagrams (P&IDs).
• 2+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Develop P&ID diagrams following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology and panel wiring diagrams.
• Lead panel design including layout and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate in global multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
