Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Manager, Inside Plant (ISP) Engineering to lead design, delivery, and standards across data center infrastructure. You will guide a team of engineering specialists, collaborate with construction, operations, and contractors, and drive quality and commissioning for multi-campus deployments.

The role requires a strong background in structured cabling, low-voltage systems, and life-safety tech, with certification and vendor-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in structured cabling, inside plant engineering, low-voltage infrastructure, or data center construction.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams, contractors, and infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards including TIA, BICSI, NEC, and other low-voltage design frameworks.
• Experience with design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, or Visio.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and delivery of in-building communications infrastructure across data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Oversee a team of technical specialists and coordinate with construction, operations, and external contractors.
• Establish engineering standards, drive quality and commissioning, and support scalable deployments across campuses and projects.
