Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an ICT Telecom Section Manager to lead telecom scope on data center projects in a hybrid US role. You’ll guide design, coordinate with SME teams, and ensure on‑time delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, 4+ years leading telecom designs, and experience with Revit/Navisworks/Revizto, plus excellent budgeting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience leading Telecommunications structured cabling design.
• 2+ years managing a small team and coordinating with multiple disciplines.
• RCDD credential or ability to obtain within a year.
• Experience with data center construction and ANSI/TIA/BICSI standards.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and Revizto.
• Strong project management, budgeting and client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams across projects and clients with forecasting and staffing.
• Budget resources for multiple projects and track schedules.
• Mentor project leads and review DIV 27 specs.
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure deadlines are met.
