Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support data center operations throughout Northeast Virginia. You will service and maintain temporary climate control equipment, including cooling, heating, dehumidification, ventilation, and environmental control systems, at customer sites and in our shop.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Experience servicing mission-critical facilities or data centers is highly preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and temporary climate control equipment supporting data center operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, ventilation, dehumidification, and power equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, start up, and commission rental equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service and basic operational training to customers.
• Accurately document service work, inspections, and repairs using electronic service systems.
• Travel throughout Northeast Virginia to support customer locations.
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures, including strict data center safety protocols.
