Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support data center customers in Northeast Virginia. You will service and maintain temporary climate control equipment across shop and customer sites, acting as a technical expert to ensure peak performance and reliability of cooling, heating, dehumidification, and ventilation systems.

The role involves field service, install/startup of rental gear, and documenting work using electronic systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Experience servicing mission-critical facilities or data centers preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting in electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and temporary climate control equipment for data center operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, ventilation, dehumidification, and power equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, start up, and commission rental equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service and basic operational training to customers.
• Document service work, inspections, and repairs using electronic service systems.
• Travel throughout Northeast Virginia to support customer locations.
• Follow safety procedures, including data center protocols.
